Back again on my blog with the material "Cause and Effect" part 2. In the previous part I explained about the meaning, "signal word", conjunctions. Well in part 2 this time I will give examples of "Signal Words"

First, I want to tell you what "Signal Words" is.

Signal words are basically connectors or words/phrases that can be used in a cause-effect sentence.

If we want to convey the cause, then you can use the following special words:

Signal words of Effect:

If we want to convey the effect, then you can use the following specific words:

Sentence examples of Cause & Effect:

1. Sumatran tigers are almost extinct because people killed too many of them.

Cause – people killed too many of them
Effect – Sumatran tigers are almost extinct

2. Early man learnt to grow food, and as a result, their lives became easier.

Cause – Early man learnt to grow food
Effect – their lives became easier

3. Since they are in love, they forgive each other’s mistakes.

Cause – they are in love
Effect – they forgive each other’s mistake

4. Haze is cause by massive forest burning

Cause – massive forest burning
Effect – Haze
