When we have a question there must be an explanation, right? like for example I wonder how can someone build a skyscraper, did he ask for the help of a genie? haha of course there is an explanation right. Well in my blog this time I will not explain about how to build a skyscraper, but I will explain about "Explanation text" what is an explanation text, how its structure etc. Read on until the end and don't forget to watch the video

Explanation is a text wich tells processes relating to forming of natural, social, scientific, and cultural phenomena.

F҉U҉N҉C҉T҉I҉O҉N҉

Social Function of Explanation text is to explain the formation process of such natural phenomenon.
An explanation text is used to describe how or why a certain phenomenon happens

T҉Y҉P҉E҉S҉

Explanation texts are categorized according to the type of process they describe.
  1. Seguential Explanation ➙ Explanation that describe natural & non-natural phenomena, for example life cycles
  2. Cause and Effect Explanation ➙ Explanation text that links cause and effect in explanation how and why an event occurred, for example volcanoes

      1. General Statement  ➙ Introducing the matter of the natural Phenomenon
